Overview

Rural Economic Development of Inola (REDI) is a non-profit organization that aids the Inola city council in public works projects. Meetings are open to anyone, and participation is highly valued.

Rural Economic Development of Inola is committed to the economic development of new and existing businesses in the Town of Inola and the surrounding area.

All actions of REDI are fundamentally focused on bringing new businesses and residents to our community. We can create a more vibrant and cultivated community by:

  • Serving as a conduit between the commercial economic interests in Inola and the municipal government.
  • Encouraging the economic well-being and expansion of the existing commercial businesses located within the town.
  • Responsibly assisting in the development of properties within Inola in an effort to improve the aesthetics of the town while providing additional revenue, and,
  • Reviewing the Town ordinances, policies, and practices to determine their impact on existing and proposed commercial businesses.

Involvement is encouraged at every level, whether you:

  • Check the Facebook page once a month to comment on proposals and features you like or don't like
  • Show up to meetings and participate in person
  • Choose to help write grants and volunteer your time in project completions

You can find out more about REDI by calling City Hall during normal business hours or emailing Rosalie Griffith directly.
